The Training-Action Program “Best Tourism 2020”, developed by the Intermediate Body of CTP – Confederation of Tourism of Portugal, is co-financed by the European Social Fund and fits into Axis III – Promotion of Sustainability and Quality in Employment, in the form of Joint Projects, within the Incentive System for the Qualification and Internationalization of PME’s (small and medium businesses), of the COMPETE 2020 program.
The Program aims at a structured intervention in groups of PME’s to which it presents common and coherent solutions in the face of problems and opportunities to be explored within the framework of these companies. The main objectives of the Program are to increase the management capacity of the participating enterprises in order to promote reorganization, innovation and change, as well as the qualification of their human resources in key areas.
The program aims, in short, through its intervention in tourism PME’s, to modernize business models, organization and management practices; diversify offer and contribute to the affirmation of Portugal as a reference tourist destination and highlight Portugal as a recognized destination for the quality and excellence of its services in this sector.
